Saalbach Hinterglemm

These adjoining Austrian villages share an extensive ski circuit together with an extremely modern lift system. Ideal for ski-to-lunchers, but not for anyone wanting an early night. The attractive twin villages on Saalbach and Hinterglemm lie in the Glamm valley and boast a vast interconnecting ski circus which is an Intermediate skiers dream. The ski area has an excellent snowfall record over recent years. There are nursery slopes right in the centre of both villages and its perfect for budding snowboarders with 2 parks with half pipes. Saalbach is the larger, more cosmopolitan of the 2 resorts with a traditional charming centre with stylish shops and cafes. Both have good Apr├Ęs Ski.
